CHANGING FLAVOURS WITH CHANGING CULTURE

| Published on

Gone are the days when Indian food was the ultimate thing and the choice of every Indian. Gone are the days when parties and weddings used to have Indian food as the core food. Yes, time is changing and so is the taste of Indians.

We see the children and the youth getting fascinated towards fast food more rather than the Indian food. Pizza is more likely to be ordered by the people at the restaurants and cafes these days over any other Indian food. why? People have become inclined towards Chinese and Italian more. People prefer to munch chips and wafers more. Gone are the days when bhel puri and chaat were more famous.

Now we see, fast food vendors opening up everywhere in India. Gone are the days when pain puri and other street food thetas used to be everyone's favourite. Now momos have taken the place of golgappas and chat.  Now waffles are taking the place of gulab jamun and rasmalai. Isn't it so weird how the culture and taste of Indians is changing with time? How youth are getting attracted towards  western food and abandoning their native good. North Indian food had been one of the favourite cuisines in India, loved by all. But now, pizza and pasta are becoming the pet food of everyone.

Now a days, even the host of a lavish wedding tries to arrange for fast food outlet stalls as it is loved by majority of people. More number of people are seen to be near the those fast food outlet stalls rather than Indian food section which is unbelievable. Lets just hope for the time to come back when the Indian food and desert was loved by all.
